Tiny Twig Home Parties!

The first EVER Tiny Twig Home Party will be next Thursday, and the second the next week! I have been adding finishing touches on my items, and checking into what I might need to up my inventory numbers on! It is very exciting and keeping me very busy.

I will be offering several Hostess Rewards and of course, prizes and gifts for some guests too! All prices at the party will be at least 15% off the original prices too!

If you would like some information about hosting your own Tiny Twig Home Party or if you have any other questions, shoot me an email.

(If you would rather not have people come to your house for one, we can do and E-Party, or maybe meet at a not too busy, quiet little coffee shop!)

I will also get some pictures of the parties up as soon as possible!

Mustard Seed Faith

Mustard Seed Faith is my newest line of jewelry! It is based on the Bible verse:

"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you." -Matthew 17:20

I have created several different pieces. Keychains, neckalces, bracelets, and many more to come! The leather wrap bracelet is one of the newest and one of my favorites!

So far, I have them available in dark brown, light brown, and even pink!

If you are interested in one you can check out my Etsy shop or e-mail me directly!

Hope you have a great day, and remember keep a little FAITH!

SIDE NOTE - The Skunk Saga

Last night, a little before 1:00, Cedar wanted to go outside. So as usual, we let him out. It wasn't long before Trev knew something wasn't right.

Cedar was outside our bedroom door barking like crazy! He came to the door wanting in just a bit later. Not EVEN dreaming of what the problem outside was, we let him back in. And boy could you smell it right away!!

The wonderful skunk aroma consumed our small house very fast! Trev ran and got paper towels trying to wipe some of the oil off Cedar. I started getting bath stuff together. Lucky Cedar, got 2 baths with doggy shampoo and 1 in lemon juice. (That was all we had in the house that we thought might at least help.) After we got finished with Cedar's baths, we got him out dried him off and sprayed him good with Febreze and Febreeze Air freshener. The poor little guy could tell he had done something wrong...and we weren't happy about it!

Before we went back to bed, we sprayed a ton of stuff around the house and tried to do something about the smell. Trevor got on Google and started taking notes on what people said worked to get the smell out and what doesn't.

So, this morning, I have the washing machine going full speed, cinnamon cooking on a sheet pan in the over, and the lamp thingy burning. As well as, white vinegar, peroxide, and baking soda all by my side! (I'm just waiting for it to warm a little outside and I plan to open all the doors and windows too!)

We shall see what works! Hopefully...

Resin Again...

I have been working on jewelry pieces for awhile now. I started out using plastic resin. Then I stopped. I was tired of dealing with the smell, sticky mess, drying times, and they seemed to stay tacky even after weeks of drying! I found other sealers and continued working on jewelry with the new products I had found.

Well, I decided recently to give resin another go. AND, I am SO glad I did!! I am using a different kind, but it doesn't smell and is so much easier to mix and use! I have been resining, (I think I made that word up...) several pieces I wouldn't have even dreamed of trying before!

Here are a couple of pictures of the new resin items!

This is a real Nandina leaf necklace!

This is a Hosta flower bud keychain, I really like this one!

If you want to check out my other new designs, go to my Tiny Twig facebook page or The Tiny Twig Etsy shop!
